Gene Scott has had a keen interest in photography his entire diving career.  It all began in Honduras in 1976 with a simple Nikonos system and has blossomed into a consuming passion to bring breathtaking underwater photography back for everyone to enjoy. He considers himself very lucky to have traveled to fascinating places, knows and dives with some wonderful Professionals like Cathy Church in Cayman, Dan Auber in San Diego CA., 

Marty Snyderman in Solana Beach, CA, Armando and Holly Alentado  in Cozumel Mexico and all which have shot photography for major magazines along with National Geographic. Gene also believes that photography is a never-ending learning experience that will lasts a lifetime.

Photography Tip

Focus on your subject. 
Practice shooting with different apertures and monitor the results  to learn how depth-of-field effects your photo. You will find that a smaller depth-of-field (and smaller f-stop #) focuses all the attention upon your subject.
